About me
I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Social Science division at the New York University at Abu Dhabi. I work in the fields of Behavioral Economics, Microeconomic Theory and Applied Econometrics.
My current research focuses on Decision Theory, the empirical performance of many behavioral theories and Bounded Rationality models. My first avenue of research studies the empirical implications of models of bounded rationality while allowing for individual heterogeneity. Exploiting stochastic choice data I study the behavioral implications of Satisficing and Limited Consideration Models. For the latter, I examine the testable implications of limited consideration in the presence of preference heterogeneity to statistically tests and identify many well-known models for consideration sets formation. My second avenue of research focuses on Behavioral Model Selection based on the study of the performance of axiomatic models in terms of the amount of information that can be extracted from data to predict behavior.
